COLORADO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY + VIDEOGRAPHY

The moments in between.

Photojournalism for couples who’d rather live their wedding day than perform it.

THE EXPERIENCE

The work happens before the wedding.

Most of what makes a wedding day feel easy gets handled months before it. The conversations about what matters to you. The shot list that already knows your family. The walk-through at your venue, before anyone’s arrived.

By the time we’re shooting, we’ve quietly done the thinking. You get to be where you actually want to be — with the people in front of you.

THE LOOK

True tones. Real feeling. The day as it was.

No presets. No filters. The light in your photographs is the light that was in the room.

If your wedding is in the mountains, it’ll look like the mountains. If it snows, it’ll snow in your photos. We don’t smooth out the day. We show it.

THE WORK

A wedding day, in chapters.

the warm-up

Newly engaged.

A relaxed couple of hours somewhere that means something to you — the mountain you got engaged on, the park you walk your dog through, the brewery where you met. Real time together in front of the camera, before the wedding day.

WEDDING FILMS

Some moments deserve motion.

Highlight films and full ceremony coverage, shot the same way the photography is — true tones, real feeling, no theatrics.

Venues

Rooms we know by heart.

Preferred at venues across Colorado, and shot at many more. When you tell us where you’re getting married, there’s a good chance we already know the light, the timing, and the spots most couples never think to use.

(Blue Spruce has photographed at over 100 venues across Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming.)

“He knew our venue inside and out and had fantastic recommendations for where to capture the best shots.”

— Rebecca, married at Boettcher Mansion

ICONIC PLACES

PLACES THAT HOLD THE DAY.

Some of our favorite weddings happen nowhere near a venue. A trailhead, a ridge, a lake shore, a meadow Beau scouted last spring. Tell us where you’re thinking, we’ve probably been there.
